Inauguration of the Centre de formation générale des adultes (CFGA) at Carrefour du Nord
The Centre de formation générale des adultes (CFGA) de la Rivière-du-Nord - Le Pilier recently inaugurated its new 45,538 sq. ft. premises at Carrefour du Nord in Saint-Jérôme, which is part of Westcliff’s extensive portfolio.
At the inauguration ceremony, attended by many elected representatives, partners, and media outlets, René Brisson, Director General of the CSSRDN, highlighted how important this milestone is for the Centre. Nathalie Côté, Director of the CFGA, presented the many services offered, and students shared their training experiences. A promotional video and an in-person tour made it possible to see the thirty or so classrooms, the facilities, and the wide range of training and services offered to the 800 students who attend the Centre each year.
At the same time, the CFGA officially launched its Welcome, Referral, Advice and Support Service (Accès-SARCA), designed to help adults make their training plans a reality.
The CFGA offers training and support to learners aged 16 and over on a full-time, daytime or part-time basis in day, evening or distance learning sessions. To learn more, visit the Centre’s website.
